Although we recommend our mail order advice ebook, Making It With Mail Order, we are not just in the business of producing software. We are a 'Small Business' advice company and provide much of this free of charge with our software when we set you up. We are there on the other end of the phone to help you run your business successfully, not just to sell our software.
TOPS Software has three directors:

Simone Nelson who worked for Marks and Spencer in Marketing for many years, and also has years of experience in running a highly successful mail order business.

John Wilson has many years of experience in running businesses, in improving efficiencies and methods together with software development and training.

Mike Robertson is an expert on getting networks to run properly and effectively. He also specialises in software development.
We've been there, done that, got the knocks and scrapes. We know what works and perhaps more importantly what doesn't (for instance T-shirts shrink and go out of shape)!

Although we may be geographically remote, we are never remote from you, the customer!
Technical Support
TOPS Software's philosphy is to live where you want and work where you live. TOPS doesn't have an office. We are a virtual company. We are used to working and collaborating remotely. Just because you are at the other end of the country doesn't mean we can't help or support you. If your TOPS or your system isn't working you aren't earning. As long as we can connect to your computer, we can probably sort out the problem (we aren't miracle workers though!)
Website Design
Do you like the look of our website? Our reliable, ever-obliging, and friendly web designers can provide you with a high quality design. Unlike many web designers, they understand how to build web sites which are search-engine friendly to begin with, saving you a lot of time and money up front.
Once set up, TOPS (and this site) is a Content Management System which means you can add and modify content without asking for help. For those without technical knowledge it's easy to maintain your own website.
If you want to do your own design, we make it easy to do so by providing several standard design templates with the TOPS CMS.
Shopping Cart
Do you need a shopping cart? TOPS comes complete with a shopping cart. And it is PCI DSS and CA compliant.
